Night Hiking

I went up to Rattlesnake Ledge tonight, about 45 minutes to go up and 20 to come back down (2 miles, ~1100 foot elevation gain). I nearly hit two bats, one with my car just before the trailhead and the other with my chest at the beginning of my descent. There was a little bit of haze in the air, no shooting stars and just one satellite.

The stars were beautiful.
