Yesterday I chose Piroshki and was considering ordering some but the lady sold me on the lunch special. I didn’t follow her accent, but I heard lightly fried chicken breast and a bunch of other stuff and said ok.

I made the right choice. About five minutes later a plate came out with a lightly fried chicken breast nearly the size of my face covering an equally large helping of mashed potatoes three-quarters of an inch deep, a salad surrounded by some crispy bread thing and a roll.

It was wonderful.

On the way back to the office a couple had their child at the playground. The father was standing at the trash can and asked his wife if she wanted any more of a 40 of malt liquor he was throwing away.
