Vehicle Review: Madison Market Shopping Cart

During my return from watching MirrorMask I came across a Madison Market shopping cart, and I decided to take it for a spin.

Construction - The shopping cart was constructed from a metal frame and plastic body. This gave it adequate strength and light weight. Madison Market is a small store, and this was a medium sized shopping cart, further contributing to its light weight. It sported standard shopping cart wheels in the always stylish black.

Handling and Ride - Due to the lightweight construction the shopping cart handled well even on moderate slopes, tracking straight even with only one hand for steering. When attempting to tackle steeper slopes two hands were needed because the cart would start to drift. The plastic construction allowed the cart to flex, smoothing the ride over the root-broken sidewalk between 14th and 16th along Pine.

Pick-up Factor - Since everybody wants to pimp out their vehicle these days in order to score, I had to add this section. I must say, pushing this shopping cart had people checking me out left and right! While this didn't translate into any successful pick-ups or phone numbers, I did get a "that's hot!" from a man walking in the opposite direction.
